Litchfield Hills Audubon Society Inc
Our Story
Litchfield Hills Audubon Society, a chapter of National Audubon, has been serving Litchfield County for over 67 years. LHAS is an active force in raising awareness of conservation and environmental issues through its monthly programs, outings, research and educational opportunities.
Our chapter offers the use of our three well-kept sanctuaries: Boyd Woods, Wigwam Brook and Kalmia. Our longstanding traditions for adults and children include; Field Trips, Free Monthly Programs, Scholarships to High School Graduates, Annual Bird Census and Duck Ramble and In-School Programs.

The mission of the Litchfield Hills Audubon Society is to protect birds, other wildlife and their habitats, through conservation, education, research, and advocacy.
